Luzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Work Plan for Accelerating the Construction of Urban Environmental Infrastructure in Luzhou City", which aims to achieve sewage treatment and resource utilization by 2025. The treatment rate of domestic sewage in the county seat has reached over 95%, the resource utilization rate of urban sewage has exceeded 20%, and the harmless treatment rate of urban sludge has reached 95%.

Domestic waste treatment. The classified collection and transportation capacity of domestic waste has reached about 3750 tons/day, and the incineration treatment capacity of urban domestic waste has reached about 3100 tons/day. The resource utilization rate of urban domestic waste has reached about 85%, and the proportion of urban domestic waste incineration treatment capacity to harmless treatment capacity has reached *.

Solid waste disposal. The capacity of solid waste recovery and comprehensive utilization has significantly improved, and the scale of recovery and utilization has continuously expanded. The comprehensive utilization rate of bulk industrial solid waste has reached 78% (excluding tailings).

Hazardous waste and medical waste disposal. The collection and treatment facilities for hazardous waste and medical waste have been basically supplemented, and the disposal capacity of hazardous waste has been fully guaranteed. The technical and operational levels have been further improved. The coverage rate of the collection and treatment system for medical waste has reached *. All medical waste in urban built-up areas at or above the county level has achieved harmless treatment.
