Sichuan Province is a key province with the highest population ranking in the country, so the food problem in Sichuan Province is a top priority and a major issue affecting national food security.

Sichuan Province is one of the provinces with a wide distribution in mountainous areas. Farmers working in mountainous areas have led to the abandonment of a large area of arable land in the mountainous areas, which cannot produce a food effect; At the same time, a large number of mountain people are flocking to cities. Originally, their food relied on mountain areas for self-sufficiency, but now their food relies on the national supply. They have become foodies and increased the national food supply. This is the crisis caused by the desertification of arable land in mountainous areas, which is still intensifying year after year. The total arable land area in China is 1.7 billion mu, of which 45% is distributed in mountainous areas, with an area of 765 million mu. The phenomenon of barren land is not only in Sichuan, but also widely occurring throughout the country. We believe that in a sense, the current phenomenon of barren land is a national disaster. Because this phenomenon has emerged nationwide, it is one of the major reasons for the country's food shortage.

How to eliminate this phenomenon? How can these already barren farmland be effectively utilized and have a food effect? Does it also not affect young people in mountainous areas going out to work? After years of research and practical operation by our experts, we have developed a complete set of methods. By using this method, the barren land in mountainous areas can be fully utilized.

One of the simplest methods to cite is to process and utilize the balsam pear that grows in various southern regions. Bamao, listed by the Ministry of Agriculture as the top eight harmful weeds in China, has a large yield and a wide production range, and is also a common harmful weed on barren land. After years of research, this is a nutritious grass plant that can be directly processed into excellent feed for various herbivorous animals; The leaf protein produced after deep processing can become advanced nutrients for human use and feed for various animals. Bamao is a perennial plant with strong growth potential and is also the preferred plant for wasteland utilization. It has a high yield and can be harvested four times a year, yielding 20 tons of fresh grass per mu, with a production value of up to 4000 yuan, which can bring rich income to farmers; There are also plants such as Rumex K-1, diseased pine vanilla, and aggregated grass, all of which can achieve the same effect.

In order to fully utilize these barren lands, we will build a nursery to cultivate and introduce more than ten types of plants suitable for local growth from all over the country, and distribute them to farmers. At the same time, we also use some wasteland to plant food and agricultural crops, without applying chemical fertilizers during the period. Instead, we use our company's research on biological fertilizers and farmhouse compound fertilizers, aiming to demonstrate the development of ecological agriculture and form an ecological agricultural system for local agriculture.

In order to demonstrate the application effect of green plant feed such as Bamao, we also carry out aquaculture at the same time. The main breeding varieties include cattle, ostriches, pigs, and chickens. Through breeding, we have confirmed the good effects brought by the application of these forage grasses; At the same time, it has been confirmed that the application of these grasslands can save 80% of feed consumption, which will make a huge demonstration effect for solving the national problem of food competition between humans and livestock; By applying our ecological breeding technology, all kinds of livestock products produced can meet export standards and can be exported to Singapore, Japan, and South Korea; At the same time, we also introduce improved breeds of beef cattle, ostriches, pigs, chickens, and other breeds from all over the country, making due contributions to the development of local agriculture and rural revitalization.

We not only need to make good use of all barren farmland and produce very good effects, but also integrate existing farmland into the ecological agricultural system, which is our overall goal. At the same time, this is a model model for the utilization of mountain wasteland and will trigger a nationwide "new wave of mountain wasteland utilization". This will provide a practical demonstration for completely lifting the national food shortage and maintaining national food security.
