The expedition went deep into the desert. Professor Yan Guangcai led the team with profound knowledge and many years of practical work and research experience, systematically understood and investigated the characteristics of temperature changes in the desert in four seasons, the causes and hazards of sandstorms, the characteristics of water sources and water storage problems, the distribution of animals and plants, the biological ecological chain, the rapid rectangular method of plant planting and the survival rate.
