After harvesting grain and oil crops every year, where should the by-product straw go? This is indeed a matter that bothers farmers. Guangyuan has a cultivated area of about 2.5 million mu and a perennial crop straw output of about 1.85 million tons. There are many effective ways to comprehensively utilize straw. Guangyuan Ruixing Renhe Family Farm in Rongshan Town, Lizhou District recycles straw at a price of 200 yuan per ton and processes corn straw into beef cattle feed. This not only reduces production costs, but also improves the disease resistance of beef cattle and improves beef quality. Straw has become a sweet cake in the ecological breeding industry. The Straw Comprehensive Treatment Center in Wanghe Town, Jiange County processes straw into gray biomass particles with a diameter of 6 to 9 millimeters, replacing conventional fossil energy and turning ecological "baggage" into ecological wealth. Zhongzi Town in Chaotian District recycles corn and straw into straw storage bags for external sales, with a selling price of over 600 yuan/ton. Zhaohua District has successively established 8 straw collection and storage centers in beef cattle and sheep breeding concentrated areas, adopted the model of "company+collective economy (cooperative)+breeding farm (household)" to acquire straw, develop and produce cattle and sheep TMR (fully mixed diet) and fully mixed granular feed products, radiating and driving 7 towns in the surrounding area. The implementation of straw feed farming not only saves food but also increases farmers' income, promoting sustainable development at both ends of farming and breeding.

In the agricultural era, straw is a valuable production and living resource for farmers, and it has also achieved the best use of its resources. However, with the gradual electrification of rural areas, straw has gradually lost its usefulness. It is gratifying to note that over the years, through active exploration and practice in various regions, the green recycling methods of crop straw have become increasingly diverse. For example, in extending the planting and breeding industry chain, vigorously promote the "straw feed fertilizer" planting and breeding cycle model. In plain areas, promote straw crushing machinery for returning to the field, straw power generation, feed utilization, and straw compost for fast decay returning to the field; In mountainous areas, promote straw molding particles and straw carbonization processing. In terms of unified collection and storage of crop straw, encourage large enterprises that digest straw to drive the development of the entire straw industry, and form a virtuous cycle of one-stop service of "collection, storage, storage, transportation, and sales" of crop straw. These practices have further opened up the supply chain, technology chain, and circulation chain of straw comprehensive utilization, and continuously improved the industrialization and high value level of straw comprehensive utilization.

Grain and straw are both fruits of agricultural production and gifts from nature. Only by finding a good place for straw and allowing farmers to make profits through straw reuse can farmers' enthusiasm for recycling straw be truly mobilized and the problem of burning straw can be solved from the source. Therefore, it is necessary to actively build a tripartite interest linkage mechanism of "enterprises, village collectives, and farmers" to make it no longer difficult to collect and store crop straws. Small straw, in addition to making fertilizer, breeding, and cultivating edible fungi, can also derive many industries. We should continue to increase investment in scientific and technological innovation in the comprehensive utilization of straw, continuously expand the scope of comprehensive utilization of straw, allow straw to create more value, further extend the modern agricultural industrial chain, broaden farmers' income growth channels, and achieve multiple economic, social, and ecological benefits.
